"THE SMELL OF KNOWLEDGE" IS NOSTALGIA AND NOT. IT IS A RETURN TO OUR FIRST SONIC EXPERIMENTATIONS AND ALSO A BRAND NEW WAY OF WORKING IN THE LIGHT OF SPIRITUAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL REVELATION.

THE SMELL OF KNOWLEDGE IS A SIX SONGS RELEASE WITH COLLABORATIONS FOR FOUR OF THEM. NOSTALGIA AND NOT FOR TWO COLLABORATIONS ARE WITH OUR VERY OLD FRIEND (WITNESS AND CO-WORKER OF THE FIRST EVER TAPES OF LM) ALES, AND NOT NOSTALGIA FOR TWO OTHERS ARE COLLABORATIONS WITH OUR BRAND NEW AND DEAR RUSSIAN FRIEND AEVUM SPIRITUS.

THE SMELL OF KNOWLEDGE IS ALSO THE RESULT OF A GREAT COLLABORATION WITH RASUL OF THE LOMEANOR NETLABEL WICH POLICY HAS SEDUCED US SINC THE BEGINNING OF OUR CORRESPONDENCE THROUGH MYSPACE.

THE SMELL OF KNOWLEDGE IS SO A TRUE CHILD OF THE WEB. TRUE CHILD OF THE VOID ON WHICH HOWEVER SINGULARITIES CAN FLY OVER AND MEET DESPITE THE ANGER FOR VOID OF THE SPIDER OF CONTROL. WE ESCAPE CONTROL AND WE CREATE OUR OWN SINGULARITIES.

Finally the very nice CD compilation "ENEMIES; collection of war time lyrical tunes" is now available, due to the great work of Count Ash (Moon Far Away) and the will of Der Angriff and Indiestate !

LONSAI MAÏKOV is there with the song "Les Soldats du marais" (Peat Bog Soldiers) a song used by many partisans in Europe, first written and composed by German prisoners in nazi camps and making popular latter by The Dubliners version. Here is given the French version of the song, and we only regret a little mistake on the booklet : arrangements are by M.G Broquerie not by T. Jolif !

Our dear Dissonant Elephant is also represented, with a very moving russian song ! A real must for all connaisseurs !

However, gathering, among others songs by Changes, Rose Rovine et Amanti and, of course, Moon Far way, this is a fine and great hommage to the souls of our forefathers kill in the WW II conflicts ! All united we sing theirs songs and the glory of their memories !

On the official LONSAI MAIKOV's MySpace page you can now listen to new songs from our forthcoming albums "DECEMBRE AU MONT DES OLIVIERS" and "THE SMELL OF KNOWLEDGE", the two are finally nearing completion, even if we can't say yet, when they will be ready !

"The Smell of Knowledge" will be a very special work of us. For the first time since the very old tape album of our debut we have worked out three songs with our old friend ALES ...; but we have also worked out two songs with our brand new russian friend of AEVUM SPIRITUS ! This six songs album will be, when ready, to download for free at LOMEANOR NET LABEL

La compilation Old Europa Cafe est enfin disponible. Coquille sur le livret, le titre de notre chanson est bien "SOUVERAIN" ...

La compilation "Enemies" du label Shadowplay est toujours en cours d'élaboration, notre camarade Dissonant Elephant nous a rejoint avec une version magnifique d'une chanson chère aux coeurs des russes "Zhuralvi" ... Notre contribution s'intitule "Les soldats du marais", un chant composé par deux prisonniers d'un camp allemand durant la seconde guerre mondiale ...

Déjà active mais bientôt plus complète une boutique internet permets aux plus inconditionnels de "porter" LONSAI MAIKOV sur eux ... le lien se trouve à gauche dans la section Lonsai Maikov sous le titre "wear your ideas" ... boutique qui, finalement, ne porte guère ses fruits, ainsi, plus aisément il est possible de "porter ses idées" directement sur la boutique TROPINKA : www.comboutique.com/tropinka !

Accumulant les retards l'album "Décembre au monts des oliviers" se prépare tranquillement pour le label sud-américian RAPE ART PRODUCTIONS ! Au jour d'aujourd'hui les sessions d'enregistrement des "voix" a enfin commencé et nous allons poursuivre à notre rythme ... qui est toujours le bon !

En attendant, d'ici peu de temps, l'album "THE SMELL OF KNOWLEDGE" devrait apparaître sur le site du Weblabel LOMEANOR NET LABEL ! Cet album entièremment inédit sera téléchargeable là, nul part ailleurs, et totalement gratuit !
